Each year, La Maison de la Chimie pursues its renovation and modernisation programme. Summer 2003 was predominantly devoted to the following:

New Service: Flash Conferences

La Maison de la Chimie launched "Flash Conferences" in September 2002 to complement its existing services. This value-added, high-tech service captures events (images and sound) for transfer to a website or CD-ROM.

Renovation

Hall 28 bis

This lobby is one of La Maison de la Chimie’s main thoroughfares, giving access to the main conference hall, rooms 8, 101 and 103, and the ground-floor reception rooms. This area and all the adjoining common areas were renovated in the summer of 2003 in the purest Art Deco style to create a welcoming yet functional space.
